Who we are

Zitec is a professional company which specialises in the manufacture and design of custom-made electric panels/switchboards and low voltage electrical installations.

Our dynamic entrepreneurial philosophy is based on our expert adaptation to the specific needs of our customers. It always fully complies with the applicable standards and offers full warranties for its products.

Founded in Asturias in 2003, it has a highly qualified professional team with extensive expertise in the electric sector. It invests and places top priority on continuous training, since it is the key axis which assures the development of the personnel and the company.

The Company's Central Office is located in the Business Park: Parque Empresarial de Argame, in a natural environment located in the centre of Asturias, with excellent land and sea transport connections.

High-level efficiency and energy savings are always the Company's primary objectives. As guarantee of its activity, the Company possesses the certifications: Quality System Management (ISO 9001:2008) and the compliance with good environmental practices (ISO 14001:2004).

Zitec is a member of the associations, AMELEC (Spanish Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and the Business Association of Electrical and Telecommunication Installations of Asturias.

History

Zitec was founded by two ambitious work colleagues who wanted to create their own business project based on providing top quality service.

One partner's experience in the manufacture of electrical panels/switchboards and the other's expertise in the execution of electrical installations allowed them to create two parallel and mutually complementary work lines.

Over the years, Zitec has undergone major growth and continually reinvests in its professional teams, equipment and installations, all with the aim to provide an increasingly better and comprehensive service.

Certifications

ZITEC Instalaciones Eléctricas S.L. has made a strong commitment to the environmental improvement of all its activities, resource conservation, pollution prevention and environmental protection.

Zitec has implanted an Environmental Management System which applies to all the activities which can cause a significant environmental impact; and it comprises the comprehensive management and control of materials, waste, landscape and resource consumption.

Continual progress is assured by establishing an Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System based on the requirements established by the Standards UNE-EN-ISO 9001: 2008 and UNE-EN-ISO 14001: 2004, structured by this Quality and Environmental Policy.

Zitec International

Zitec's growth and expansion have consolidated its strategy to accompany its clients in various international projects and it has the capacity to export its products and technical know-how to any location worldwide.

“We work hard to market custom-made solutions; we also directly tender our products to distributors, engineering and construction firms located in different strategically located markets”.

In response to the clients' specific requirements, Zitec manages the design, manufacture and shipping of the electric panels to the agreed destination. On demand, Zitec also markets other electrical materials and equipment, strictly fulfilling the time period and warranty terms.
